Outcasts: Chp 3 Pt 2

Felius still had a grip on Lilith's upper arm. She had stopped struggling, but he would not let his guard down. He turned his attention towards Daniel and the black werewolf. Felius never thought he would ever see a black werewolf again. They are easily swayed to any side that gives them the best benefit. Meaning they don't care for anyone but themselves. The last time he saw a black one was when he was traveling around in Russia. He was more than sure that that werewolf had not died because he was young. That means this is him. Why and how he is here is the question. Felius' eyes narrowed as he tried to figure out the question.

Lilith tilted her head up to see Felius' face. After what he told her she was expecting him to be smiling with a blood lusting gaze. Instead she found him watching contently. He was so confusing.

Without even looking down Felius said, "You should be watching the fight. It's only a matter of time that we find out who the winner will be."

Daniel was struggling in this fight. He didn't expect this wolf to be this strong or fast. He could barely keep up with his opponents attacks. Growling in frustration and anger he lashed out. It was as if the wolf was expecting him to do that, it bit down on Daniel's front paws sinking his canine teeth into his flesh. Daniel cried out in pain, latching his teeth into the others neck causing him to let go of Daniel's paw. Daniel pulled away and limped a few feet away from the wolf. His violet eyes connected with the red eyes. Blood dripped out of the wolf's jaw. It barred its teeth as it snarled at Daniel and began to circle around him. Daniel got ready for him to attack, but much to his surprise the wolf started to talk in his mind.

"A white wolf huh? I never thought I would ever see you again, Brother." The wolf said 'brother' with distaste.

Daniel growled at the wolf. "You're no brother of mine. I don't like calling wolves my brothers or sisters. You all are just a bunch of meat."

The wolf laughed in his head, but he tilted his head back and howled. "You really are dense aren't you? You don't deserve to be the white wolf, the savior of our kind. I do. And I will be more that happy to take it from you."

"Idiot! You can't take it from me! You have to be born with it!" Daniel shouted. The wolf winced from the power and loudness his voice was in side his head.

The wolf chuckled to himself, "Oh, I don't want the power of the white wolf. From what you are demonstrating to me, it's not as powerful as it was told to be." He pounced on Daniel, digging his claws into his side. Daniel let out a whimper before the black wolf latched his teeth around his jugular, as he continued to speak to Daniel through his mind, "With you out of the way for good I will be known as the most powerful wolf in the world. You white werewolves are pathetic."

Lilith began struggling against Felius again. "We can't just let him die!"

Felius looked down at her. His gaze was as cold as winter. She shivered under his look. "I thought you didn't like us little girl. You are beginning to annoy me with your constant change of mind and your stupidity. If you were to jump in now you would still die. That Black Wolf is no fool. Of course I could just let you do what you want and get yourself killed. It would save me from having to babysit a child like you." Lilith was frozen from the shock of his words, but he continued as if he didn't even notice, "We also aren't the only ones watching this fight. Have a little more fate in Snowflake. If you don't then you'll just end up dying along with him. I will not sacrifice my life to save pathetic beings like you two."

Finally snapping out of her shock state, Lilith looked disgustedly at Felius, "You're a filthy little bastard! I thought you two were friends!" She finally wiggled her way out of his grasp, causing Felius to take a step towards her and having her stumble backwards and falls on her butt. "You're a vampire for fuck sake! You have lived for how long? Daniel looks only but in his early twenties. How could you just let him die like that?"

Reaching out he grabbed a hold of Lilith's forearm and jerked her up towards him. "I hate mutts. I hate humans. All I can feel is hate towards this world. Daniel is no exception. Because he let himself get dragged into this fight of dormancy, he is no better then every other living thing in this planet."

"And you are!? Vampires and Werewolves were in a war for over five hundred years to see which race is the best!" Lilith countered.

"A war I had no part in. I escaped from it and I will continue to escape from meaningless things. The only thing I want in my life is my soul. If it comes down to losing people who are supposedly close to me to death fine."

For the first time Lilith's thought process stopped as she looked up at him and said the most brilliant thing she has ever said, "Huh?"

Sighing, Felius released Lilith and waved his hand at her, "Someone like you would never understand. Go on. Go save Daniel from his pending doom."

Lilith surprised herself even more as she turned and went to go save Daniel. Not that she needed to. Daniel had flung the wolf off of him and began to shift back to his human self. He felt extremely weak and was gushing blood out of his wounds he had gotten from the wolf. Lilith ran up to him and held him up before he could fall to the ground. The black wolf got back up on its legs and was getting ready to attack them both.

He jumped into the air, putting his paws out in front of him to take them both to the ground but the wolf was suddenly slammed into the ground. Felius had his foot over the wolfs throat and the other over its tail putting pressure on it. "You clearly won this fight. Go away."
